
Terms & Conditions
General Payment Policy:
- For the period of 11th January 2022 – 26th December 2022, 100% of the stay payment will be required 30 days prior arrival date.
- For the festive season (20th December 2022 – 10th January 2023) 100% of the stay payment will be required 60 days prior arrival date.

General Cancellation Policy:
For the period of 11th January – 20th December 2022
- No charges for cancellation made 03 days prior to arrival date.
- 100% fees of the accommodation value will be charged for the cancellations made inside 03 days prior to the arrival.
- No-show arrivals will be charged with 100% of stay and one-way transfer.
For Festive Season (20th December 2022 – 10th January 2023)
- 30% non-refundable deposit is required within 7 days of the booking confirmation. (applicable for all Villas and Residences)
- 50% fees of the accommodation value will be charged for cancellation made from 60 days to 45 days prior to the arrival date.
- 100% fees of the accommodation value will be charged for the cancellations made 44 days and prior to the arrival date.
- No-show will be charged with 100% of stay and one-way transfer.

Special periods and length of stay during these dates
A 7-night minimum stay is applicable for any arrival from December 24th, 2022 to January 02, 2023.
Seaplane transfers:
- The resort is approximately 30-minute away from Ibrahim Velana International Airport (formerly known Ibrahim Nasir (Male) International Airport) by seaplane.
- Seaplane is available during daylight only and subject to weather conditions.
- Seaplane transfer rate is US$650 per adult* (12 years and above) return trip.
- Seaplane transfer rate is US$390 per child* (2 - 11.99 years) return trip.
- Infants under two years of age travel free of charge (sitting on a parent’s lap).
- The baggage allowance is 20kgs and 5kgs hand luggage.
- Any excess baggage is chargeable at US$5 per kg and payable at the airport.
- Seaplane rates are subject to increase if fuel surcharge increases.
- For shared transfers, there is a waiting time at the terminal, maximum 2 hours after checking in.
- If you choose to transfer by seaplane, your arrival international flight needs to land in Male before 3 pm and departure international flights that leave Male’ after 9 am only.

Domestic Flight transfers:
- The resort can be reached by a 30-minute domestic flight and a 10-minute speedboat ride from Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport.
- The domestic flight transfer rate is US$650 per adult* (12 years and above) return trip. One way transfer will be 50% of the return trip base rate.
- Children between 2 – 11 years will receive a 40% discount. A charge of US$75 applies to infants below two years of age (sitting on a parent’s lap).
- Each guest (excluding infants) is allowed a 25kgs of checked luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage.
- Any excess baggage is charged at a cost of US$3 per kg and is payable at the airport.
- Please provide arrival/departure details for all bookings at least five days prior to the guest arrival to guarantee transfers on time.
- Any cancellations less than 24 hours prior to arrival and no-shows will incur 100% of transfer charges.
- For shared transfers, there is a waiting time at the terminal, maximum 3 hours after checking in.

Liability of the Resort:
- The Resort limits its liability to the Guests as follows:
- Claims for damages are excluded except in circumstances which result in injury to life, body or property, caused by an intentional or gross breach of obligation of the Resort.
- A breach of an obligation of the Resort is deemed to be equivalent to a breach of a legal obligation.
- In the event damages are caused to Guests, the Resort shall act to minimize such damages as soon it comes to the knowledge of the Resort without delay. At the same time, Guests are obliged to take such actions to keep the damage at a minimum.
- Liability claims against the Resort shall expire unless the Guest notifies the Resort within 1 year of the occurrence of the event that cause the damages.
- Guests are responsible for and advised to procure their own travel insurance to cover any possible incidences while holidaying in the Resort.
Engagement of External Personnel, Equipment, Facilities or Produce:
- The Resort reserves the right to refuse access or eject without prejudice any person, items or produce who it considers being objectionable (including any person engaged by The Guest to provide services or perform any other duties).
- In circumstances where the guest wishes to use their own services, equipment, facilities or produce while staying at the resort, prior written permission must be granted from the Management and must pay an agreed fee.
- Please note that due to licensing regulation, handling of alcohol and pork must be handled by the resort and outside items will not be allowed without proper approval of Maldives Customs Services.
- This clause sets out the entire financial liability of the resort to the guest in respect of the above arrangements.
Related Fees:
- Bringing in own service staff: USD 500 per day per staff, includes housing and F&B (not including traverse).
- Use of Island Marina for docking: USD 300 per hour, includes water and power.
- Food and Beverage (Corkage / Food fee): 10% to be charged based on the commercial price of items, with a min charge $2000 per day.
- Water sports and Diving - 10% commission based on resort property prices, when using outside service providers.
Drones:
Due to privacy concerns, Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences prohibits the operation of unmanned aerial systems or drones. We kindly ask guests to refrain from flying drones anywhere on the island. For a drone shooting, please contact your Katheeb.
